Travel Log - SACRED JOURNEY “In the footsteps of Magdalene – Now and then”

First a short pre-story

Eight years ago, a beautiful song from the Divine Mother inspired me to embark on a solo journey in the footsteps of Magdalene, even though my knowledge of the Essene community and its rich history was limited. Trusting my intuition, I traveled from Denmark to France, beginning my adventure at the Grotto de Sainte Madeleine in Sainte Baume.

During my stay at the monastery, I formed a deep, heartfelt connection with nature and met a newfound sister traveler, an American woman heading toward Carcassonne. Our bond felt profoundly familiar, as if our souls had danced together in other lifetimes. While walking the sacred path to the Grotto, I experienced a striking vision of Yeshua, which reaffirmed the spiritual depth of my journey, filling me with warmth and reverence.

As we approached Carcassonne, we spotted a heart-shaped cloud in the sky, a delightful sign that reinforced our sense of divine guidance. We spent five magical days exploring together, with our visit to Montségur—a powerful site once held by the Cathars—being a highlight. It was there that I experienced a vivid vision of a regal King embarking on a new journey, symbolizing the personal transformation that was unfolding within me.

In 2024 I guided the first group of dedicated women on a Sacred Journey. A wonderful and transformative journey. You can read more about the journey under the travel log 2024.

In 2025, I returned to the sacred land ready yet again to hold a nurturing space for a new group of women. I heartfully embrace the evolution of this journey(s) from an individual discovery to a shared experience, inviting each new participant to connect deeply with themselves and the spiritual energies that abound in this enchanting land.

Spiritual pre-notes for the Sacred Journey – September 2025

In my preparations for the journey I was guided to find for each participant a specially chosen set of crystals: a double‑terminated clear quartz, a clear quartz sphere, and an egg of fluorite. The three stones served as energetic amplifiers, deepening our connection to one another, to the surrounding energies, and to the portals that opened around us.

These guiding stones and connecting tools assisted us in clearing and opening inner portals; they invited us to focus on the trinity—the seed of creation—and on the foundation of all manifestation.

What emerged unplanned was the harmony of numbers: our group counted six, and the journey lasted nine days. Sacred numbers revealed themselves—3, 6, 9—echoing the pattern of our work.

When we arrived at the airport to collect our great vehicle, the license plate read 6‑3‑9, and the letters summed to nine. It felt like a tender reminder that the Universe was conspiring to hold and guide us.

Note: Specific content of Guided journeys, Meditations and activations are not shared  here as they were personal experiences and should be honored as such.

Spiritual Highlights of the Sacred Journey – September 2025

DAY 1ESPÉRAZA / PUIVERT / GROTTE DE LOMBRIVES

We began the morning with energy work and meditation at our hotel in Espéraza. Our sacred exercises prepared us for the opening ceremony in the Grotte de Lombrives.

With time to spare before arriving at our main house in Puivert, we visited the village and a wonderful crystal shop. Early afternoon we arrived at our house — Dame Blanche, Puivert — a beautiful, spacious place perfectly suited for our stay.

After settling in we drove to Lombrives for the opening ceremony. Much to our surprise the cave was filled with visitors despite the booking for a private tour.

I felt uneasy, then heard the guidance: be flexible. We waited patiently; the group was gracious.

When we finally entered the cave it was as always: mysterious and luminous, with deep embedded crystals that seemed to connect to Lemuria.

At the lake in the heart of the mountain we held an opening meditation and stated our intentions and quests for the sacred journey.

DAY 2:  PUIVERT/ RENNES-LES-BAINS

We slept in after the late night. In the morning we found that courtyard was a beautiful place for our morning energy work.

After a hearty breakfast we traveled to Rennes‑les‑Bains for a ceremony at the Spring of Magdalene.

The place held deep, loving energy. Each person spoke their desires aloud; individual messages and a silent water baptism followed.

Families were nearby, but our blessing remained intimate, heart‑opening, cleansing, and invigorating.

The waters were welcome in the high heat.

We had lunch at a local crêperie in nature — delicious — and returned to Puivert to rest.

DAY 3 — RENNES-LE-CHÂTEAU

We visited the church of Mary Magdalene and the museum. In Saunière’s garden we meditated in the glass house. Our three crystals were called in to activate different areas in our bodies/light bodies.

The energy felt expansive and unifying.

Back in Puivert many rested.

A woman from the group and I explored the village and the castle. Because of a distant thunderstorm we were at first denied access. We persisted and were finally allowed in.

In the Hall of the Troubadours the acoustics and energy were powerful.

A spontaneous portal opened for one participant through me. Beyond timelines, stargates. A strong and deep activation.

We were forever grateful to have the space privately for that experience.
We took the Sentier des Troubadours back down to our house where dinner awaited us on return.

DAY 4MONTSÉGUR

We began our day with sacred morning exercises, infusing our spirits with intention and holding sacred space. Each movement was a prayer, harmonizing our energies and ensuring that our personal fields were clear and centered, ready to receive the profound spiritual energies that awaited us.

Montségur is sacred ground and before going up we held a meditation honoring the ancient guardians and protectors of Montségur asking for the(ir) permission to proceed with our group and group intention.

We then walked the medicine path towards the castle ruin, connecting with the spirits of the land on our way.
Though many people were present, maintaining our inner focus allowed us to remain undisturbed.

We were gifted a private space for ceremony in a small annex, where spirit provided opportunities for meditations and activations.

This was the first of 2 visits at Montségur and was a preparation for the next visit on Friday the 22nd.

DAY 5: PUIVERT

Time to rest!
A day devoted to integration, renewal and time to take a leisure walk to the lake, to the castle or just rest at home. We were happy to go to the food marked in the village to do local shopping for our dinner.

In the afternoon we were 4 to go to the Castle of Puivert. This time we went first to the Chapel.

Different energy from the Hall of Troubadours – but then again – the castle and its powerful energies played their song for us.

Expansion – transformation – and openings. We were there just to relax but spirit had other plans for our excursion on that day.
The castle of Puivert was such a powerful and wonderful surprise and definitely a place to come back to.

Day 6BOUGARACH

A significant change of weather. It was kind of an obstable for our plans to to go to Bougarach.
Bougarach is an important energy portal and the area where the Essenes lived long time ago.

It is called the ascension mountain and is known for shiftly changing weather situations.

We were spiritual warriors and luckily we had one in the group who could see windows of time when it was not pourring down and/or the winds kicking us too much around.

It was out of question to go to the top. Instead I was guided to take the group to the Well/Spring. From there we were able to open the portals within and connect on a deep level with the mountain.
In the meditation, over the Spring, our 3 crystals were taken in to the mountain by dragons and infused with extraordinary light. Then the crystals were placed within the body/Light body as resonating and vibrational openings. The light within the crystals as they came back was stunning and beautiful.

The weather did not allow us more access and in truth, we had all been filled with the Light Codes of the mountain and our inner cups were filled.

The cold weather called for resting and integrating for the remaining of the day.

Day 7: MONTSÉGUR

Our 2nd visit to Montségur and a big day for our journey.

Early rise in order for us to do all our energy alignments and infusing of Light Codes with Sacred Geomatrix before leaving the house.
Before going up we visited the village and Jonas, at Le Pélerin in Montségur. Such a knowing and beautiful soul. I am sad to hear of his passing earlier in January of 2026.
Jonas showed us the church and was a genuine and extraordinary source of information of the place.

Then Montségur. The sun was out as we arrived. The green pasture below the castle grounds before the ascending steps was our gathering place. Here we opened the circle for our visit. Connecting to the Guardians of the place to ask for permission to continue our way up and our ceremony at the Castle Ruin.

Energies were high and it was necessary to ground and prepare to stay focused. Many visitors this day, so a kind reminder for us to keep our Medicine Walk in place.

Coming to the top we saw quite a lot of people in the main part listening to a lecture, but coming out on the other side we found a beautiful plateau and open land and air to all sides. Perfect!

As we were preparing I noticed a couple sitting close by. They seemed very interested and I felt compelled to invite them in. Such a blessing to have their presence with us.
The Divine feminine presence was strong and took everyone, each in their own way, on an inner journey. Deep healing for us all, and a resurrection of the sacred communion between the Sacred Masculine and Feminine beyond timelines took place.

A blessing from Source that we were able to hold the ceremony with so many people close by and yet – we had the place completely to our-selves for the exact needed duration of the ceremony.
On the way up an accident had happened that needed attention. So as arrived in Rennes-les-bains for a lecture with Sus and Kaj Krassel our group divided so that we could get an arm/wrist looked at in Carcassone.

Sus and Kaj are an indefinite source of knowledge of the church in Rennes-le-Château and of the whole area. Such a gift for everyone to meet them and to hear them share of the well of their knowledge.

A long day and at the end we all needed to come back home to rest before the next day in Rennes-le-Château.

DAY 8: RENNES-LE-CHÂTEAU & Eglise de Sainte Madeleine.

Meeting Sus and Kaj in Rennes-le-Château early in the morning for a guided tour of Eglise de Sainte Madeleine.

After an enlightening lecture by Sus and Kai at the Church of Madeleine, where they shared their studies and deep insights into the mysteries of the church, we enjoyed a nourishing meal that further strengthened our connection.

Their wisdom illuminated the sacred space, enhancing our understanding of its history and significance.

In the afternoon we visited “Fauteuille de Diable” also called the Chair of Isis in Rennes-les-bains. A place of great mysteries and connections.

Completely filled to the brim we went home and rested before our last and closing ceremony at La Source Salz the following day.

Day 9:  SOURCE SALZ
Closing ceremony

La Source Salz was new to me but I am so happy that I was guided to shift from Grotto de Lombrives to the Spring of River Salz – a salt water spring in the mountains for our closing ceremony and meditation.

Our final day was marked by a Ceremony and Medicine Walk. We walked in silence, tuning into the wisdom of nature and receiving deep insights for personal growth throughout the journey.

An incredible, spirit‑filled place, rich with nature spirits. We were blessed to arrive early and have the place to ourselves for the entire closing ceremony — a true gift from Spirit.

At the threshold of spring, we held a heartfelt ceremony with our crystals, awed by the shift in their energy. We began in the Cave of Lombrive — our inner heart — and concluded at the spring of Salt Water.

At the threshold of the Spring, we held a heartfelt ceremony with our crystals, amazed at the transformation of their energy.
We started in the Cave of Lombrive – our inner heart – and we ended with the spring of Salt Water.

Purification, Protection & the Spring of Life / Birth – Life-Death.

Having worked with the triple axis of Creation itself, embodied by the three crystals each participant received, the ending at the River Salz felt deeply nurturing on every level. We shared personal experiences from the Journey, received individual messages from our Guides, and celebrated Life together.

Time for sharing personal experiences during the Journey – time for individual messages from the Guides and time to celebrate Life.

This alchemical experience solidified the sacred geometry within and without on both personally and group level.

As we concluded with a closing ceremony, many people came to do their meditations and ceremonies. Time to go home, rest and start packing all our suitcases.

In the evening after a great meal it was time for closing the sacred space created in our lovely house and home in Puivert.
In silence and with much gratitude we emptied the Alter while thanking the spirit of the House, the village of Puivert and all that had supported, guided and nurtured us during our journey.

The journey home was smooth, filled with reflections and much needed integration of our transformative experiences.

Closing online meeting

A few weeks after we returned home it was time to close the space for the group. We met online once more, where each received a personal message and gift from the spirit of The Magdalenes, affirming the deep connections and spiritual insights gained throughout the journey.

We expressed our gratitude to all the Masters, Angelics, Galactics, and Kingdoms who had supported us in such a profound, safe, and transformational way, releasing them back to the Universe.

With heartfelt appreciation, I close my journal for now, knowing that another Sacred Journey is being crafted for September 2026.
Who knows what magic that lies ahead?

With infinite Love and Gratitude,
KemDara/Karen

Testimonials
Sacred Journey 2025

Dearest Karen, My friends tell me over the phone that my voice has become lighter and my energy is completely different - much better than it has been for a long long time! They say that my joy is contagious That makes me happy, and I AM happy!! Thank you for your immense work and organization and for an unforgettable, profound experience on the most beautiful journey I have ever been on ♥️ A thousand thanks for a truly fantastic experience 😍 Big hugs and loving greetings,
Marlene❤️

For any soul who might feel the call of Magdalene

It was the most heartfelt and beautiful experience to be in Karen’s “hands and wisdom” during the nine days we walked in Mary’s footsteps in southern France.

It felt very safe, despite a busy schedule. The mix of excursions, long days, self-driving, shared accommodation, and the practical space we created together worked so well for me.

Karen was phenomenal in her channelings, magical with her voice and harp, and a deeply caring, clear, and strong guide both physically and spiritually ❤️

Being able to meet local guides who deepened our understanding of Mary’s work helped the journey unfold even more.

The toolkit Karen draws from means everyone can take something meaningful from the trip.

I strongly recommend this journey to anyone who feels drawn to Magdalene. A big plus is Karen’s deep personal connection to France and her fluent French. She’s also a wonderful driver 😍 Helle Larsen

I came home a different person!

I came home a changed person after the Sacred Journey with Karen to Southern France.

The places we visited held a transformative and magical energy that worked on both the physical and spiritual planes, in a way that the change that occurred has become a lasting foundation for the future.

Everything was beautifully supported by Karen’s high spirits, abundant energy, and her deep attunement to the spirit and soul of each place, and by how, with her vast experience, she guided us through the ceremonies.

It was wonderful to be part of a small group sharing the experiences, which amplified the energies and the sense of connection.

Karen had planned an inspiring itinerary and was excellent at making quick adjustments if the weather interfered or if she sensed an extra experience we should have.

Karen always brought us to the right places at the right times, creating powerful moments.

We began in the Grotte de Lombrive, where Karen held a ceremony by the lake with her beautiful crystal harp. There we each spoke our intention. It was incredibly moving to be deep within the magical caves and feel the energies.

The next day we walked to Mary Magdalene’s spring in Rennes-les-Bains, where Karen welcomed us into the circle and we repeated our intention from the caves.

Rennes-le-Château was a very special experience; we were fortunate to visit twice and attended a talk by Sus and Kaj, two lovely Danes with enormous knowledge of the site, who then showed us around the Mary Magdalene church.

We hiked Montségur twice, pausing at a memorial to the Cathars and visiting the castle ruins on the summit. Beautiful hikes with powerful ceremonies on site.

On the day we visited Bugarach it was pouring rain, but by divine timing it paused the moment we arrived, allowing us to experience the mountain’s power.

We stayed in a lovely house in Puivert, a charming village with a delightful swimming lake, a beautiful large church where Karen was allowed to hold a ceremony, and an ancient castle once home to the Cathars, where we felt the intense energies of the place.

We had a beautiful closing ceremony at a saltspring in Rennes-les-Bains.

I warmly recommend walking in Magdalene’s footsteps with Karen. It was incredible to visit places of such high energy, to be safely guided through them by Karen, and to have the time to find inner calm and feel the effect of the unique energy that permeates the region. T H 🙏
